Sharing images with Snapseed

Snapseed provides a number of different ways for you to share your photos. You will also be able to select the final size of the image you would like to share.

Sharing via Email

To share your photo via email, click on the Mail icon after clicking on the Share button in the toolbar or select Email from the Share menu. Snapseed will prepare your photo and create a new email with your photo in it. Snapseed needs to use the Mac Mail application when sharing via email. If you use another application other than Mac Mail as your default email application, Snapseed will launch Mail and prepare a new message with your photo.

Sharing via Facebook

You will need to authenticate Snapseed to upload to your Facebook account the first time you select the Facebook sharing option. To authenticate, enter your user name and password and check the box “Keep me logged in to Snapseed.”

When uploading your photos, you can enter a description and choose which album to add the photo into. If you do not select an album, the image will be added into your Wall Photos album.

Click on the Share on Facebook button to upload your photo.

If, at any point, you want to prevent Snapseed from being able to upload to your Facebook account, navigate to the Help menu, roll-over the Disconnect from Online Services item and select Disconnect from Facebook.

Sharing Via Flickr

To upload your photo to your Flickr Photostream, select Flickr from the menu presented after clicking on the Share button in the toolbar.

You will need to authenticate Snapseed to upload to your Flickr Photostream the first time you select the Flickr sharing option. Snapseed will open a web browser window requesting your Flickr credentials. Enter your Flickr username and password and click Sign In. In the next screen, make sure you click on the Next button for the paragraph that reads “If you arrived at this page because you specifically asked Snapseed to connect to your Flickr account, click here.” Then, click the OK, I’ll Authorize It button. This will authenticate Snapseed to upload to your Flickr Photostream. Switch back to Snapseed to upload your photo to your Flickr Photostream.

When uploading you can enter a title and description for the photo, select which album to add the photo into, and determine who can see your photos with the privacy settings.

Click on the Share on Flickr button to upload your photo.

If, at any point, you want to prevent Snapseed from being able to upload to your Flickr account, navigate to the Help menu, roll-over the Disconnect from Online Services item and select Disconnect from Flickr.

Sharing Via Twitter

You will need to authenticate Snapseed to upload to your Twitter account the first time you select the Twitter sharing option. Snapseed will open a web browser window requesting your Twitter credentials. Enter your Twitter username and password and click Sign In. In the next screen, you will get a notification that will now enable you to post images to your Twitter feed. Press OK and it will automatically switch back to Snapseed to upload your photo to your Twitter account.

When uploading you can enter a description for the photo with the standard character limitations.

Click on the Share on Twitter button to upload your photo.

If, at any point, you want to prevent Snapseed from being able to upload to your Twitter account, navigate to the Share menu, roll-over the Disconnect from Online Services item and select Disconnect from Twitter.
